Time to Retire Go to Sleep
I've been awake since 2:30 a.m.; actually, a bit earlier than that, I think. It's now 4:30 a.m. Why am I awake at this hour? If you know the answer, please write it on the deed to an island in the Pacific and send it to me, along with all necessary travel documents to get me there...and it would be helpful if you'd include sufficient cash to cover all my retirement expenses for the next 30 years.

I will gladly exchange with you, if you will tell me why I am STILL awake at 4:30 after previously not being asleep yet.
I can't fall asleep at the "proper" time, yet I can hardly stay awake at, say, 2 p.m. and can happily nap through atomic bombs then.
You haven't taken the proper sleep aids: wine, tequila, bourbon, gin, etc. (not mixed together).
I think it's not that we need to retire so much as that we're basically nomads, and we need to keep moving and work as [& wherever] we go.
