for retirement? It IS scary, and it's WONDERFUL. I retired early and it was the best thing I've done for myself in a long while. Lots of changes occurred after that, not the least of which is my wife and I taking a marital break -- which may well become permanent. And now I'm moving to the big city. So watch out, change is a'coming!!
I think, as a nation, we could use more education and counseling for married couples on the psychodynamics of retirement.
The end of October is ALWAYS scary. It's Halloween!
